A 14,275sf facility providing dog, cat, and small animal kennel and holding spaces; multi-purpose room, retail area, public reception "Shelter Hall", and administrative area. The overall program was developed to provide for current and future needs of the growing Rescue League. The building layout was generated to incorporate the dual reception and drop off program requirements. Cost effective building systems were used including cement board wainscotting to balance durability, function, and cost. Interior runs were designed with individual drainage, epoxy flooring, adjacent support spaces, and zoned mechanical systems. The project was completed during the winter of 1998.
