8,000sf of new construction was added to 2,000sf of renovated existing building for new Interpretive Center within the existing Park. The ARCHITECTS programmed the facility with DRED, Audobon Society, UNH Sea Grant, and the Friends of Odiorne. Developed alternate site concepts and corresponding building concepts. Refined design development with study models. Developed Contract Documents with numerous alternates to maximize the value of the project funds: 50% State, and 50% privately raised. Construction Administration included coordination with ongoing exhibit design decisions. The grand opening was in June 1992.
