The Architects designed a 14,275sf facility providing
dog, cat, and small animal kennel and holding
spaces; multi-purpose room, retail area, public
reception "Shelter Hall", and administrative
area. It was developed for future growth. The
building layout was generated to incorporate the
dual reception and drop off program requirements.
Cost effective building systems were used to balance
durability, function, and cost. Interior runs
were designed with individual drainage, epoxy
flooring, adjacent support spaces, and zoned mechanical
systems. Completed during the winter of 1998. |
