New
Hampshire Institute of Art is planning to renovate
the existing two story brick building that was
Manchester’s first high school and move
it forward on the site over a new basement. A
new two story glass walled connector over a basement
will connect to a new 6 story building over a
basement. The basement and the first two floors
will provide program space for instruction and
faculty office space. The 4 upper floors will
provide dormitory space for 54 beds plus support
space. This mixed used property adds to the Institute’s
growing urban campus and is within three blocks
of all of the other academic buildings in downtown
Manchester.
