The Architects collaborated with both the local
building committee and the respective congregation
to complete a feasibility study that identified
a Master Plan to address an expanding program
and infrastructure issues. The Church is located
on Amherst's famed Village green in the heart
of town.It was
important to complete deferred maintenance and
repair work to continue the long term viability.
The historic character and charming qualities
of the church remained while handicap accessibility
improved, as well as parking, site, circulation,
fellowship space, and sanctuary seating. |
