The Architects provided a feasibility study of
the existing town office building to identify
it's cost to renovate versus building new. The
process will include multiple building schemes,
preliminary probable costs, and building elevations
that were reviewed by the Board of Selectmen and
Building Committee for consensus which it was
determined to construct a new building on Main
Street in Tamworth. The project consists of a
new 3,000sf wood framed building on the same site
as the former building in Historic Tamworth Village.
The existing building was demolished. The project
was completed in 2003. |
